Soy Problems

The soy whip canister stopped working while I was stuffing my second crepe. I'm mostly upset because it cost me 6.99. Those two crepes cost me at least 6.99! I can't afford to be buying one time use whip.

No Work. No Money. No Eating Out.

I forced myself to have two instant noodles meals this week.
Why?
Unemployed.

The challenge now is to keep my food budget low, but still find different ways to cook the same, cheap ingredients.

Brunch Again

Late on this post. It happened last week.

Back in Kits, but this time at Chewie's. Very similar vibe to Rodeny's. The guys are flirty and arrogant. I would come again.

Egg Series

1. Dinner - Plain baked chicken with scrambled eggs (red chili sauce).

2. Brunch - Bacon hash with attempted poached eggs.

3. Breakfast - Kale and cod omlette.

All on separate days. Can you tell I bought 30 eggs about two weeks ago? And still trying to get to fifteen.

Summer of Brunches!

Breakfast food can never be beaten. Last year, I was on a summer patio hunt. This year, I'm on a summer brunch patio hunt. I will settle for just brunch.

Two success stories so far.
Pulled pork hash - The Commune
Pulled bison hash - Abigail's Party

I have also discovered instaquote. I apologize ahead of time for the over usage.

I'm on a potato kick and I really shouldn't be. Hash this hash that. It's all I want to do.
Pork and kale hash.

Movie pairing: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

After movie thoughts: Maybe I should try something new and not always have my safe hash.

Old Habits Die Hard

Tuna (canned) lettuce wraps.
I couldn't be too healthy. I baked potato thins to go with the tzatziki (pc).

I'm late to the Woody Allen game. Midnight in Paris has become one of those movies I'll proudly recommend, but Manhattan is the only classic Woody Allen film I've seen. I felt it was time to finally visit his must-sees just so I could say Midnight in Paris is my favourite Woody Allen film. Annie Hall played while I messily managed the poorly held together wraps. As in to it as I was, once I hit pause and had to do the dishes, I got distracted and now I'm back to my old ways. I'm falling in love with Tom Hanks yet again. Sleepless in Seattle.

Fiddle-dee-dee.
